Rock Layer Model
This week in science, we made a rock layer model.
We used different kinds of bread, peanut butter and raisins, and jelly to represent different types of rock. You can see in the picture which ingredient represented which type of rock. We explored how scientists date rock layers based on the layers above and below the layer they're dating.
